🧾 What This Policy Covers

Sensei Whiskers ("we", "us") is a meme and entertainment project. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.

📥 What We Collect

• Contact form — if you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the message you send. We use it only to reply to you.
• Chat memory notes — when you chat with Sensei, he remembers short notes about you (things you share about your goals, habits, or interests) so he can feel personal. These notes are stored on our server, linked only to an anonymous, unguessable ID. The full chat transcript stays in your own browser.
• Wallet public key — if you connect a Phantom wallet (coming soon), we store your wallet's public address as your identity. We never see or store your private keys. Ownership is proven by a signed challenge, and we verify the signature without keeping it.
• Identity cookie — a small, essential cookie (sw_uid) that lets us recognise you across visits. It is strictly necessary for your personal Sensei to work and is not used for advertising.
• Basic technical data — IP addresses are used only to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and are not stored long-term.

🔒 How We Use It

• To reply to your messages.
• To make Sensei remember you personally across devices.
• To keep the site safe from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

🧩 Service Providers

We use a small number of trusted services to run the site, which may process data on our behalf: OpenAI (AI chat), Google (email), and Solana wallet infrastructure. Each processes only the data needed to provide its part of the service.

⏳ Retention & Deletion

Identities that have been inactive for 180 days are automatically removed. You can delete everything we hold about you at any time:

• In the chat, tap 🧠 Memory — you can switch Sensei's memory off (he stops keeping and using notes about you), and switch it back on anytime. Choosing Erase & get a new ID also clears your chat and replaces your identity with a brand-new one.
• In the chat, open My ID → Forget me — this erases your memory notes and clears your identity.

👶 Children

Sensei is a meme for everyone, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

🌍 Your Rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, use our contact page. We will respond within the timeframes the law allows.
